A few weeks ago at a Friday night dinner party my wife and I routinely attend, I was asked what we did at the shop. My immediate answer was fix cars. One of the men at the table pressed for a better description or our niche. Do you do oil changes, transmission work, engine repair, tune ups, or just what is your niche? I gave it some more thought and came up with “we provide automotive maintenance for our customers”. Then went on to say that we do all of the above if necessary to properly maintain a customer’s car.
Think about it, most people today have no idea if their car is running properly or not unless something is neglected until it fails completely. They rely on experts to diagnose the condition of their vehicle. That expert may be the check engine light, or one of the several other warning lights built into the control systems of modern cars, or it could be an expert certified technician like the ones at Eilenberger’s. Every time we do anything on your car we also do a CVI (courtesy vehicle inspection). That is; we take a look at all the important systems and components of the car to be sure we can advise you of any impending conditions that may put the safety or reliability of your car in question. We also check for manufacture’s recommended maintenance. Then with your permission we preform the maintenance to keep you safely and reliably on the road.
So our niche is keeping you worry free about the condition of your car by assuring it is properly maintained. It may be an oil change, wheel alignment, new tires, an exhaust system, brake repair, replace a head light, routine replacement of sensors, or any number of maintenance items that put you at risk.
However our mission is:
To serve you with the highest professional and ethical service in the cleanest, friendliest, and most cheerful facility available so that you are impressed by the excellent service you received and desire to return and experience it again.
